Rafael Zepeda is a Professor of English at California State University, Long Beach. His previous books include Horse Medicine & Other Stories, Tao Driver & Selected Poems, The Wichita Poems, and Desperados. His poems and stories have appeared in many anthologies and magazines. He has received a National Endowment of the Arts Creative Writing Fellowship in Fiction, a California Artists' Fellowship, and a Poets, Essayists, and Novelists Syndicated Fiction Award.
