Buried Secrets is a mystery novel by Krissy Baccaro which begins on the streets of Skaneateles, in upstate New York. Ella Perri stands at the foot of her grandparents' home on the lake unprepared to enter after the recent death of her beloved grandfather, Poppy. Although profoundly saddened by Poppy's death, Ella is no stranger to loss.

Before entering the house, she reflects on a letter she found containing a secret about a crime that might have involved her grandfather. She also reflects on something Poppy said before he passed...watch who you trust.

Ella discovers additional letters hidden in unexpected places. The letters and contents of the box take her on a journey through the streets of Tropea, Italy where Poppy, his family, and Gianna grew up.
