This experiential sequel to Stillness combines ancient spiritual practices with Dr. William G. Sutherland, DO's inspired Stillness Touch to reunite the body with love. Through in-depth meditations, touch practices, and detailed study guides, Charles Ridley guides the reader through an unchartered journey in the evolution of consciousness. This comprehensive guidebook explores both ancient and modern practices along with our core inner challenges and unconscious recoils in the reuniting of love with the heart through touch.
Charles Ridley began his cranial studies in 1973 after receiving one session that expanded his consciousness for 30 days. He realized right then that cranial work would be his life's work. Charles experienced first-hand that cranial practice is a spiritual path that evolves consciousness. His cranial teacher, Dr. DeJarnette was Dr. Sutherland's student, and he directly transmitted Sutherland's essence in the cranial classes he taught.
Charles practiced biomechanical and functional cranial work for twenty of this forty-six years of cranial study and practice. Then, biodynamics spontaneously awakened in him in the mid 1990's. His inner experiences and meditations inspired Charles to write notes for his Biodynamic Cranial Touch Mentor Course that eventually became the book "Stillness." Charles sat in stillness in the early mornings while filled with an ardent desire to receive the essence of Dr. Sutherland's transmission; he would write down what inwardly came to him.
