Mission: Mistletoe is the second story in The Military Child Chronicles. This series was created to serve as a resource and tool for military families. The holiday season can be very difficult for military families. Often, geographical separation and distance can leave military families feeling isolated and displaced.

A young boy, Atticus, experiences his first Christmas away from his grandparents in a new location. The story creatively depicts the challenges and complex emotions that military children may face during the holiday season and offers adaptive solutions to an adverse climate.
