Tumbmar is a young boy who was cursed by a powerful sage as an infant after his parents chased him from their home. The child was doomed to begin twelve years of exile after he turned twelve years old.
When the young couple realized who and what the sage was, they begged for forgiveness and mercy on behalf of their son.
The sage's heart softened, and he promised that the twelve years of exile that he cast on the life of the innocent child would be lived under his protection.
After many years, the sage took Tumbmar under his wing and became his mentor, teaching him to do all kinds of difficult tasks. And when the time came, he sent Tumbmar on his way.
Along his travels, Tumbmar meets many companions and faces dangerous trials. All slowly leading to a dreadful confrontation with an evil that many had thought long gone.
