Gradients & Feelings originally started as a poster series by graphic designer Jacob Ham in 2020. A year later, he decided to turn it into a series of books.
Gradients are becoming an even bigger trend with every passing day as more brands strive to incorporate them, replacing so-called untrendy solid colours in the process. When used correctly, gradients look amazing and almost guarantee to grab people's attention.
They look slick and often represent our mood and feelings without us realising. Gradients can be peaceful and soothing, but they can also be dark and highlight chaos. As a designer, creating gradients can be therapeutic and occupy your mind during a time of crisis.
This volume of Gradients & Feelings contains 100 black & white freeform gradients created with the hope of helping you feel something.
