In the second book of The Adventures of Fini and Ruby, the two friends need to fix the rain. It is pouring outside, but all the plants are dry. The rain seems to miss them.

Fini and Ruby go out in the garden and are lifted up by the wind till they land on top of the clouds. Up there they learn that there are different raindrops with different jobs on Earth.

When they fix the blocked slide for the plant raindrops they meet Ernest the friendly puddle raindrop, who helps them to get back down to Earth.
