Mr Gorilla was written by Florence Mckay at the age of eleven. She loves being creative by sharing her thoughts, feelings and messages through her writing. The book was illustrated by Noel Mulvaney, Florence's Uncle, whose job is an accomplished Digital Artist and loves designing wonderful and wacky characters.

Mr Gorilla was inspired by her sister who at the time found a love for gorillas.

The book is about a young messy girl and her equally messy wardrobe. Who's in that wardrobe you ask...a gorilla of course! The girl eventually finds something clean in the wardrobe and a strange turn of events follows, can Mr Gorilla piece together the puzzle?
