This Pocket Field Guide is divided into four main categories. First, I'll discuss band sets. Band sets are the elastic engines which power the slingshot. I'll focus primarily on how to make your own, and I'll cover basic pouch design. A pouch is the center pocket that holds the ammo to be fired. I'll even provide a template for making your own pouches with common materials. Second, I'll feature some unique improvised survival slingshot builds. These will detail a variety of improvised forks and frames on which the band sets are mounted. Third, I'll discuss a variety of options for improvised "survival-style" ammunition. Lastly, I'll briefly outline what I would consider the "basics" of slingshot shooting. These will be a collection of tips, tricks, and best practices for safe and accurate slingshot operation.
