The abolishment of segregation in South Africa ended years of oppression, yet instead of bringing healing, it produced new horrendous suffering and destruction and death. The curse was not broken; instead, it seemed to intensify. The truth is, government can only implement and enforce rules and regulations-it cannot liberate hearts.

After tripping over her own wounds and scars and grief, God finally brought the author, through a deeper understanding of the life of Moses, to a place of restoration and knowing there IS a place where hearts are healed and true community is born.
