Apidae is a perfect land with a perfect hive-like structure, and perfect people called hive units. Each hiveu has perfect health, physical traits, body weight, skin, height, and intellect. After a serious disease strikes Isabelle, William sets out to retrieve banned medication to save her. Alone, he must traverse the full north-south span of the hive to retrieve the medicine, while avoiding the tight technological net Apidae places around its land.
