Seeing Things Through the Eyes of Christ
The world is filled with conflict. Strife and tension run rampant in today's society, with everyone claiming their opinion or interpretation of what is going on is the correct viewpoint.
As Christians, we have a responsibility to put aside our own opinions. Ultimately, we should be seeking to see the world through the lens of Jesus Christ. His perspective should be the only one that matters to us.
This is reflected well in John 3:30, where John the Baptist says, "He must increase, but I must decrease." John the Baptist knew that in order to accomplish the mission of the Gospel, it could not be his words or his will-it had to emanate from the source of all truth: Jesus Christ.
