"The Shadow Moon" tells the story of one very special night in the lives of two young raccoons, Molly and Sal, as they venture out of their den for the very first time to explore the beauty and wonder of their home high in the mountains of western Montana.

"The Shadow Moon" marks the continued collaboration of author S. A. Bergquist and illustrator Jamie Carrier whose first book, "The Story Tree: Year One," recently came out to critical acclaim.
