In today's society, television characters and social media personifications seem to be the defining factor in a child's life. There are stigmas placed on who and what they need to look like, act like, or be like. We live in a "today" where the color of one's skin, physical attributes, and social input can make or break them. However, you are not what anyone else thinks of you, you are what you believe. I want to affirm you just like the little girl in this book that: "you are beautiful just the way you are", "you are needed", "you are filled with many unlocked gifts and talents", and "you have so much greatness to offer the world!
