She settles in and enjoys the companionship of her cousin, Aleida. Their many adventures in the meadows on her uncle's estate, but his warning to never go beyond the woods echoes in Eden's mind as to why.
One day, while strolling through the meadow picking flowers, when her uncle and cousins were away, arms reached out from the woods and grabbed Eden. No one was around to hear her scream or come to her rescue.
