Overwhelmed by looking at the divisions among the churches, this book stresses God's desire for them to be in union with each other. Because worldly wisdom has dominated the churches and has caused these divisions to emerge, the author found himself at the feet of Jesus. He discovered that love, the greatest unifying force, was lacking considerably among them. God has given us life and He is also the source of love. The life we live is so beautiful because of His love. He has wrapped us in love that connects the physical to eternal living. Every particle in our creation is joined together with atoms and tells us that loving each other brings the joy of heaven to earth. God desires churches to be shining stars in this world. These splits and divisions have deprived us of many of God's blessings. Calling from the Cross on which He died, Jesus calls mankind to love God and love each other. In it, He has decreed eternal life with Him; and in His resurrection, Jesus opened the gate of heaven for all to enter where He is. When mankind chose their own way, unity with God diminished considerably and caused many splits among us. Yet God in Christ Jesus desires that we all may be one. How can we be in union with God when we cannot be in union with each other? The Bible says: How good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity (Psalm 133:1).
