you should teach them something about God, but you have no idea what. Maybe you used to go to church. Maybe you used to believe something. But now you are not sure what to believe. Or maybe you are a grandparent and this describes your kids.

Sometimes religious stories give mixed messages. For example, in Genesis, God says everything he made was good and he was pleased. But then he was sorry he made people, so he sends a flood to destroy everyone except Noah and his family. As an adult, we can process and interpret or dismiss the story.
