"The Tales, Tails, and Trails of Triple Creek" is a titillating title with a teasing tetrad of Ts! It reflects both the name of the community and my poetry's
rhythms, rhymes, and rolling alliteration. Through the book's title and poems, I sought to capture Floridian wildlife's playfulness, contrast, and diversity. While walking the perfectly manicured and dusty dirt trails, I often found my discoveries and impressions generating short tales about the tails that popped up everywhere. These trails represent the very essence of life, as we each traverse our own trail, not knowing what tales and tails (people or animals) will pop up on our next adventure.
