In the final two years of the war in Europe, French Résistance fighter Jacques Berlangier and his determined, American OSS partner Claire Skiffington struggle to survive a series of hazardous assignments in support of Allied operations. In the war's immediate aftermath, in love and together in Paris, they return to his family's apple farm business in the Breton countryside.
