Giving up on becoming the hero of his own story, Itsuki Hashima listlessly cranks out his tales like a light-novel machine. Nayuta Kani, meanwhile, has given up on writing entirely, holing up in her place and gaming as if her life depends on it. Haruto Fuwa and Miyako Shirakawa are flailing to figure out how to restore the duo to their usual energetic selves, but while the protagonists are frozen in time, the clock keeps ticking and life goes on--and life always has plenty of twists in store!
