The thought of what her mother might think of her accomplishments never leaves her, and once her father dies, Connie begins the search for her relatives. Once the birth records are opened in Minnesota, Connie is put in touch with her biological father who was living in Phoenix. From there her search turns into a thirty-year long endeavor trying to find her biological mother.
