Lawrence, a Hollywood producer wrote her a letter explaining why he needed his own journey. Reese responded with a book-"Production Wife Diaries".
What happens when Reese, a 21 year old girl from San Diego falls in love with Lawrence, an older hotty at the horse races? Will she follow her dreams? Will they get married? At what cost will they fight for the vows they took? Will they start a family? How will cystic fibrosis play a part in their journey? Will Lawrence become a Hollywood producer and will Reese become the supportive woman in his life? Well, I can't wait to share because this 21 year old girl is me.
These next chapters/episodes that make up "Production Wife Diaries" are just a few pages of my behind the scenes journey in Hollywood.
I have spent more than a decade with Lawrence in the television industry and while I have been by his side through it all, our season has had its ups and downs. This is the way I want to remember our season, so I will play it for you, our script. Let's say this season is inspired by a few true events with dramatization and a lot of embellishing, enhancing and editing, because it's Hollywood so why not? Let's also say that this season is part of a series. There are many seasons in my life and my time as a production wife. I am much more than that, but proud to share my "Production Wife Diaries". If I can help one more human being then I have achieved my goal here. Lawrence is not just an amazing, hardworking TV producer, but he has produced an amazing life for me and our boys. He is a great father. Thank you, Lawrence, for making me beyond strong and for being my biggest teacher.
My diaries helped me accept and appreciate myself and this life. Our boys are the best part of our love story-crazy love story that takes on many roles such as lovers, friends, partners, roommates and parents, perhaps singles? However it turns out I am thankful, beyond thankful to breath each day especially in the good times.
Thank you Hollywood for taking me on this ongoing journey of self-discovery and healing. I am also sorry for resenting you. I hated you for taking him from us, but you didn't, he chose you over us as part of his journey. It had to happen that way to be where we are right now. Thank you for giving him a purpose especially in his darkest days when the boys and I could not. Without Hollywood we wouldn't have the good memories and amazing insurance. Once again thank you for being part of our journey. Without your lessons and support we would not be the people we are today. These diaries are how I want to remember Hollywood. These diaries are how I want to remember Lawrence.
