When her class takes a trip to Rottnest Island, Kylie is full of excitement. "Rotto" is home to one of Australia's cutest and friendliest animals, the quokka, and Kylie hopes to meet one. Little does she know that the meanest boy in her class has brought along a nasty surprise, setting the scene for an incredible island adventure that involves quokkas, seagulls, a speedy stingray and other animals.

Kylie must use all of her resourcefulness, determination and courage to help her newfound friends.
