My Romeo & Me is the biography/autobiography of Mary Heroux and her life with her second husband Romuald Heroux. It is an extraordinary story of this extraordinary Canadian couple. A true Canadian story of a couple who made a life in the 60s onwards in Quebec and across Ontario, settling in Port Elgin. They lived in Jackson's Cove, on and off grid, relying on Romeo's inventiveness to make a livable life. The narrative is humourous and a great history and social commentary of the time, surviving the World War when younger.
