22-year-old Caleb Cohen is living a seemingly quiet life in Tel Aviv after being given temporary leave from the Israeli military to deal with the devastating loss of someone close to him.
But his life is in evident disarray as he finds himself overcome with emotions of grief, confusion, and lacking a sense of purpose. Even with close family friends offering him work while he gets back on his feet, he's relying too much on alcohol, cigarettes, and partying to deal with the internal turmoil. Not even the company of a beautiful young woman can settle his emotional unrest.
When he receives a call from his longtime friend Aaron, offering a job to work as a bodyguard for the United States ambassador's daughter in France, Caleb finally starts to question his life choices and accepts the offer on a whim.
He's got nothing to lose.
But little does he know that sixteen-year-old Billie Murphy will be the catalyst that changes his life forever.
