Había llegado al límite. Se encontraba en ese momento en que el dolor --el peor dolor, el que produce la soledad de espíritu --amenazaba con llevarle a la más terrible desesperación. Qué mejor prueba podía tener de la inexistencia de Dios que su sufrimiento sin sentido? Y si Dios existiera no podría, en su soledad, hablarle? Fue este último gesto de esperanza el que obró el milagro.
