This photobook unites the story of Charles Kroehle--a pioneering 19th-century photographer who disappeared in the Amazon--with a contemporary project by Swiss photographer Yann Gross and Spanish photographer Argui e Escand n, who traveled through Peru photographing the people and landscapes of the jungle.
