This is the story of a man who thought it was all lost until, by random chance, he meets a woman who lives with her nephew following her sister's death. The man's name is Yôsuke, and he spent his childhood deprived of his parent's love, until he is left without a family and without a home. It all changes when he bumps into Nashiki, a young woman who has lost her sister and now must take care of her nephew, Kenji. However, misery loves company, and one fateful day, under the afterglow of the setting sun, a tragedy will force Yôsuke to take care of the little one.
