"Ham's BIG Adventure" is a children's book that was written as a dedication to the author's, late best friend, Jamie Myers. To continue his legacy and good will, the book centers around themes of coping with loss, grief, loneliness, and depression in children. After struggling to process her own emotions dealing with loss at 19, it was important for Jonas to focus the book on the positives: the love, care, and memories left behind. The book introduces the concept of loss in a soft, gentle, and accessible way that serves as a reminder to each reader that YOU ARE LOVED.
A space pirate named Ham goes on an epic journey to find where love lives, only to find out that it may be closer than it seems... He travels to far-off worlds, meets colorful aliens, and learns that love may not be so far away.
For every sale of this book, a portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Tidewell Foundation (www.tidewellfoundation.org).
