ommunion or falling to one's knees in prayer. It's an attitude, as when we are filled by singing or hearing a hymn. It is a recognition of both the greatness of God above us and the closeness of God to us. However, worship goes further than that, attempting to recover at least some part of our oneness with God that we lost at the gates of Eden. In Essential Worship, we consider three things that separate us from God and four steps we can take to draw closer.
