In the land of Malgar, shadow casters were once vanguards of peace and harmony, revered as heroes by all. But when fear sparked a purge that intended to extinguish their ancient art, casters were nearly eliminated from existence.
But turmoil eventually led to reform and, rising from the ashes of distrust, three young casters, Kaito, Sumi, and Nigel, emerge as beacons of hope within the reinstated Legion of Shadow Casters. Together they must prove their worth in a society split by fear and prejudice, where their very existence could reignite former conflicts with those that only recently ceased to hunt them. The once-hallowed art of shadow casting, now revered by some and suppressed by others, teeters on the edge of resurgence or oblivion.
Can Kaito, Sumi, and Nigel realize their shadow casting potential while learning to bear the weighty mantle of their new roles and withstand the crucible of their first real test?
