ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Jessica Chinyere Uzo, is a Nigerian-American author, born in Chicago, IL, and sent to live in Nigeria from ages one through five and then again from ten to eleven. She speaks both English and Igbo and grew up predominantly in the south suburban area of Chicago. She holds a Bachelors degree in Criminal Justice, from Chicago State University, and a Masters degree in Public Management from Johns Hopkins University. Ms Uzo is passionate about the arts, traveling, and community organizing.
