At birth, Rindercella's Fairy Godmother declares Rin will have a fairy tale life. Although no one is exactly sure what that means, they assume she will grow up, fall in love with a prince, perhaps get a curse or two, and live happily ever after.
The night of the much-awaited ball arrives and Rin meets the prince, ready to fall in love at first sight. The only problem? She doesn't! Not only that, she finds the prince a dead bore and is thrilled when he falls instantly in love with her beloved stepsister Aria instead.
When Aria is turned into a frog and disappears, leaving only an embroidered slipper behind as evidence, Rin and the prince set out on a mad quest to find and save her. Along the way they meet Hansel and Gretel who live in a house made of carrots and broccoli, manage to get the prince turned into a koala bear, save Little Red Ridinghood's grandmother from a twenty-foot, fire breathing chicken, and meet other surprising, mismatched fairy tale friends.
Rin and the prince get in and out of ridiculous scrapes everywhere they go. With only three days until Aria's spell becomes permanent, can they find and change her back to human before she is stuck an amphibian forever?
