their lives suffered hunger. One day they were eating lunch. They each decided to share their half of their sandwich with someone they saw in need. They realized as they delivered the sandwich to the grateful person, that there were more people in need. When they got home they looked around the kitchen to see what extra things they had to share. Family, friends, and neighbors contributed from their spare possessions, time, and talents. The peanut butter sandwich became an abundant beginning of kindness.
