came from the Holy Spirit. From the fall of 2016 to today, I've been immersed in ministry as the administrator, custodian, worship leader, praise team singer, biblical studies teacher, and Sunday morning preacher. All while maintaining my home life duties, full, part-time jobs, hobbies, and crafts turned into side-gigs and businesses. I remember asking my husband how I was supposed to hear from God and perform my role in all of these positions effectively with all that was on my plate. It's not my job or responsibility to try and fulfill these tasks alone. The Holy Spirit has shown me the root cause of how we, as human beings, are easily distracted, enticed, and driven to succeed in our personal careers and ministry growth. The solution to be a Doer of the Word, one must operate with the attributes of Jesus Christ.

Jeanette Ruffin is married to the love of her life, Ervin Ruffin. They are the proud parents of two daughters, Adele and Raven, and the grandparents of twins, Amir and Aden. Jeanette is an Analyst, co-owner of Assurant Health Services L.L.C. and E.J.R. Solutions & Development L.L.C., Director of sHeTwirlz Inc., and recently elevated to the appointed position of Pastor at Faith Temple Ministries Apostolic in Suffolk, Virginia. She is a lifelong member of FTMA, serving in many capacities such as the Ministerial, Media, Music, Liberal Arts Ministry, and Administration. As the Pastoral Care Assistant for her grandfather, the late Bishop Dr. Obadiah Colander, founder of F.T.M.A., she gained much knowledge and wisdom from his daily teachings and countless hours of conversations. In 2008, she accepted the calling to serve as an evangelist until her promotion to Elder in 2022. She declares, "Now Faith" is her Testimony.
