The book also delves into the lives of other characters. Most of the characters have other issues within their personal lives. They all must go through something in their lives to bring them to an understanding of the truth of God.

It reminds me of my own personal experiences. I had some deep-seated issues that did not reflect the glory of God in my life. I had to look unto the hills from where my help comes from.

I had to look to Jesus, the author and finisher of my faith.
