book defies categorization. Although written from Catholic perspective, these stories of God showing up are eminently readable by anyone of any faith, including those on the fence about God. Her life story is her God story, but to call it purely a memoir or an autobiography would be inaccurate. It is too remarkable. In the end, the book is about God and His presence in a life and what can happen when a soul cooperates. The stories are engaging--often intensely personal--drawing souls into the moment and opening windows for God's light to shine in, illuminating a personal story within the reader (perhaps long forgotten) and instigating a new conversation with God.
