Delving into the lives of people from different countries, ethnicities, religions, and orientations, Pantalla Parade reflects on the metanarratives that are proffered by media, public figures, and the mob in times of crisis.

Join the parade and meet a Mexican server who, as a child, cooked for refugees fleeing Central America on train tops; a Lebanese hair stylist prodigious in art and colour and style; a second-generation Chinese whose grandmother slaughtered chickens in her backyard; a musician, a baker, a photographer, a counsellor in a detention home-and of course Adam, asleep in the bird's nest.
