After tragedy takes away the most important things in her life, Indy does what any sane person in her position would do: she runs away to Paris. While her week in Paris with her older sister, Addie, is supposed to be a break from her life and time for her to figure out her next steps, on the second day, her sister reveals a secret: she's a vampire.

Determined to spend the rest of eternity by her sister's side, Indy seeks out Simon - a charming vampire she met at a cafe. Simon agrees to make Indy a vampire on one condition: she must live her life to the fullest for three days. If she succeeds, he will make her a vampire. If she fails, she will return home and never see her sister again.

With Simon at her side, Indy sets out to discover Paris and, in turn, herself. In rooms of history and gold, Indy learns how to live again... to smile again... and to love again. But is it enough to live forever?
