Castle left the essence of their souls behind to select & teach the next generation of protectors of the realm. The time has come and evil has struck, sending the essences of the Lion Room deep into the earth. The remaining essences select their champions known to the realm as Guides. Brydon is one of these. He has the ability to speak with the dead and move them across to the next plane. When Brydon first experienced his ability the dead surrounded him, threatening to harm him if he didn't help them.
