Paolo DeLuca had not met anyone he would change his life for, until he met Abby Woo, a young woman on the verge of a career in medicine. This is the story of two people living in Philadelphia who unwittingly become entangled in the criminal underworld of the Chinese Triad operating out of the bustling showcase section of Center City known as Chinatown. Abby and Paolo leave their quiet suburban home to run a simple errand at the city's historic Benjamin Franklin Bank. While there, the bank is robbed, Abby is kidnapped, and Paolo is left for dead.
