ed author who has found himself with a bad case of writer's block. Needing to move away from the hustle and bustle of Boston, Russell and his family- his wife Marie and young son Sam- move to the picturesque town of Isolation in northern New Hampshire. Their home in Isolation is everything they ever wanted.

A few months after their arrival the locals begin seeing a creature that is stalking the woods around town and suddenly the bodies begin to pile up. Terror replaces serenity in the small town as people begin dying seemingly at random.

Four friends- Russell, his neighbors Tom and Mitchell, and an old town historian named Bryce- take it upon themselves to discover what this monster that is lurking around town is, why it is destroying the small town one mutilated body at a time and most importantly, how to stop it and save their home.

Uncovering the horrors of history, these men battle their own demons in an attempt to save their futures.
