Davida Angelica Roared tells the story of Angel, who is wounded by a hunter's arrow. Angel survives the wounding, forgetting it ever happened. As a lioness with her own cubs, Angel finally remembers the wounding. Surrounded by the wise lions under a full moon, Angel begins to roar. She is healed through her roars and renamed "Davida the Courageous" by the wise old lions in her pride.
