When a child is on the cusp of leaving home, a myriad of emotions can take over your heart and mind. Excitement for the future. Fear for their safety and of letting go of control. Grief over the change in dynamic in your household. Arms that ache for the little toddler who wanted to snuggle after nap time. Joy as you dream about all the wonderful things the child is about to experience. Senior year is, for lack of a better description, just A LOT. A lot of emotions, a lot of plans, a lot of work, a lot of wondering what is to come. This book was born out of the desire to handle all of that well. To handle it with grace and to handle it with more smiles than tears. To trust that the Lord has great things in store for His children. My prayer is that these prayers will align your heart with His and allow you to fully embrace and enjoy this year with your senior. May the year to come be exciting and joyful, and may you fully trust that the Lord has plans to give your senior a Hope and a Future!
