All his adult life he has devoted himself to defending dragons from hunters and corrupt knights seeking prestige and wealth, earning himself the title of The Liberator.

With the dragon hunters' operations slowing down, Fendrel finds himself with more time on his hands, but a request from his latest rescue soon demands his full attention. The dragon king's betrothed has gone missing, and Fendrel may be the only person who can bring her back home.

This mission should have been like any other, but Fendrel soon realizes the prospective dragon queen is just a piece in a world-changing plot by the dragon hunters to take their operation to the next level.

In a race against the clock, Fendrel and his newfound teammates must face militant dragon hunters, a royal guard set on impeding justice, and ravenous dragons driven mad by sickness.
