We would often talk about a myriad of subjects, ranging from babies to zombies, the Bible to our favorite childhood cartoons. At times, especially due to our work schedules, we couldn't finish entire conversations, and there were times when I had to look deeper into the subject. Many times, this "research" led to messages I would send back about what I'd found on our chosen subjects, and maybe even a few personal thoughts, just to give my friend time to thoroughly read, and understand my point. It got to a point where we were having more frequent conversations, and therefore.... more messages back and forth.
As I talked to other friends, about problems or life situations that they had experienced, everyone seemed to be talking about the same things or having the same issues at the same time; so, I would send all of them the same messages. Eventually, I started adding people to my contact list, and one day while in the gym, three people mentioned how I should write a book...and thus, the book was born. I made it up in my mind that the book would be whatever the message was for that given day. There is no rhyme or reason to the messages; some are very similar to each other, but this is how they came to me, and that's how I wanted the book to be. Maybe someone will be dealing with the same issues again later so a similar message may help.... all of us don't pass the test the first time around.
