Hello Everyone,
The days of being just a brick and mortar business without any web presence have nearly vanished. For those exceptional organizations that managed to build a clientele from years of hard work, the ones that have enough business i.e. "I don't need any more work, thank you!", hat's off to you. I consider these types of businesses to be outliers when compared to the myriad of organizations and individuals that sell their goods on Craigslist, eBay, Amazon... and, if they are lucky, their own websites.
For those that do have a web presence, how do you differentiate yourselves? This is a rhetorical question. For many, I already know the answer: you don't! In most situations, the buyer is only making price comparisons. As long as they receive their products as advertised and on a timely basis no less, the buyer is happy. Of course, they will forget you unless they wish to lodge a complaint. Sound familiar?
Most businesses are now left with a laundry list of questions that need to be answered. Here is an example of a few:
How can I help?
Well, I will put my years of retail experience to use. I used to own a high-end , award winning consignment boutique in Philadelphia. So I know retail!! Add to that my expertise in computer and web based technologies and a certain social marketing je ne sais quoi , and I will make you known. If you want to know more, reach out to me via notems. FYI, my services do come cheap, for now. ?
