3Angela realized at a very early age that she had a heart for the people of God. As a little girl, not even understanding why, friends and relatives would come to her asking for prayer, requesting that she lay hands on them. Angela's parents maintained a Christian home full of Christian values throughout her youth, which carried through to her adult life. It is that the same Christian foundation on which she stands on today. Throughout her journey as a follower of Christ, Angela served as a leader in a variety of ministries. She led in Women's Ministry, the Benevolent Ministry, the Usher Board Ministry, and the New Member Orientation, while serving and assisting in other ministries as needed. Her passion for God's people eventually led Angela to become an Ordained Minister in August 2007. Angela also served as a volunteer in the ICU at St. Joseph Hospital, giving her the opportunity to start a Sunday Ministry, visiting the sick and their families in a time of crisis. She was also instrumental in the birth of a door-to-door ministry, for the tenants in the housing community of Belmont Heights. Through all her years of ministry, God used Angela to bring hope to those around her, but she struggled with her own challenges. A stronghold of unforgiveness had taken root in her heart. Through prayer and God's help, she is now free Angela is confident the Lord placed this book inside her to share with you. To encourage you to find your God-given inner strength to forgive and be free. Free to enjoy the abundant life God has promised you.
