By the Shores of Galilee is an intimate look at Jesus Christ by the men and women in His day who were touched by Him. Some of those in this book were fishermen, some were outcasts like an immoral woman who was weighed down by the guilt of her past, or a diseased leper estranged from society, others were even wealthy businessmen. Still, others were condemned men who were awaiting the judgement of their lawless deeds. Some were religious leaders with deep-seated opinions that overshadowed tangible proofs before their eyes.
Yet there was something about Jesus that, for some, posed a riddle and a question they could not answer, and this mystery about Him they could not dismiss so easily. And still, others found in Jesus the answer to the culmination of all their deepest needs.
Here, I invite you to take a journey back to that land and, as these pages unfold, feel the airy climate of Jerusalem and touch those dusty roads and, in the process, perhaps meet Jesus Christ yourself and feel your heart warmed by Him. It is my hope that for you the trip will be worth it.
