description
4The Magnanimous Penny Campaign is the second book in the Coco Series. It depicts the life of twelve-year-old Coco Shantrel Dubois, a young philanthropist, who initiates a Penny Campaign with the support of her loving parents, the principal, the staff, and all the students at Garrison Elementary School. About the Author Sheryl Tillis is a former teacher with a BS degree in Special Education. As a young child, she learned from her mother how to give away all sorts of items. The word "philanthropy" became essential to her as she began traveling twenty years ago. Back then, she started leaving a pair of shoes behind for the maid who was assigned to her room. This philanthropy spiraled into giving away clothing. The idea of leaving shoes was the catalyst for writing her very first book, "Leaving My SHOES Behind." Whenever family or friends come to visit, they are given the gift of love.
